Since summer 2010, Bass 99 has rocked Bournemouth with fat beats, party vibes and massive bass. On Saturday 18th June, you can catch us again bringing you some serious bassline business.
Recently some of our followers have labeled our night a Dubstep night, a Drum n Bass night, or a Breaks night…etc. So just wanting to put everyone straight….the concept behind our night is to combine the best of bass music, which does include …the above genres and more, starting off with slower less crazy stuff at the start of the night and picking up pace and additional filth as we go through.
Our recomendation is to come along and forget about the genre divides and just appreciate the bass driven activity on the all new Funktion1 sound system. Chances are that if you open your mind you’ll find more than one genre appealin. Bascially, if your feelin a choon then go nuts to it wether it be Drum n Bass, Jungle, Ghetto Funk, Glitch Hop, Breaks, Drumstep, Dubstep, Kitchen Sink, or Whalestep…..ok so the last 2 are made up, but you get the idea!!
