Welcome everyone! Tonight to warm things up I bring you an hour of vintage & new skool disco vibes feat lovely tracks by Dr Packer, Luna City Express, No Regular Play, Mirko Boni, Phil Weeks & more, inspired by music shared with me by my good friend, music producer and dj Andrea Armillotta at our vocal recording sessions!
I’ll then be introducing & interviewing my epic guests, local extraordinaire’s Buba King! Having spun the wheels of steel together since 2003, these two highly talented dj’s & producers are renowned for creating a technically electric, party atmosphere with their signature ‘anything goes’ sound incorporating an added twist of the old skool. Not only do Buba King have a portfolio of meaty mixes, productions & bootlegs, they have ripped out frantic four deck sets on many occasions & were also invited to record a minimix for BBC Radio 1‘s Annie Mac!
