Proceeds from our parties go to various charities, Oxfam, BrisFest, Book-Cycle. Oxjam is a volunteer run fundraising venture, Oxjam GB registered charity number 202918. Book-Cycle is a UK based volunteer run charity, registered charity number 1127078. Bristol Festival Community Group are volunteers passionate about promoting local music and the team behind BrisFest, registered charity number 1124722.

Pigpen Radio has received permission from the relevant recording rights holders and music publishers for every recording broadcast. Therefore a license is not required from PPL, PRS, SoundExchange or comparable organisations.

No.51 ,Stokes Croft, Bristol

We are really excited about our first party of the year oink! oink!

Our Winter Warmer is taking place on Saturday 18th February 2012 at No.51 Stokes Croft Bristol.  4pm to 4am, free entry, fundraising for Oxfam, BrisFest and Book-Cycle.

The musical entertainment features live reggae and dub from Reggae Riddim Club, live funk from Funk Jam One and live hip hop from VGO.

Resident and guest DJs Bubaking, Monk Daddy Spalding vs Job Done Orly, Dicey, Dub Boy, Dr Fish, HiHat, Smerin, Jung will be playing farmfunk, pigbass and oinkstep.

There will the return of our free shop with a fresh 2012 selection of books, vinyl, cds and dvds.

No.51′s famous pizza is served all day till late, lovingly handcrafted in their wood fired oven.  Our resident cake queen Katrina will also be providing some yummy fairtrade and organic sweet and savory treats.  Local real ale, local cider and specialist international lagers are available on tap.

After the duo blew he house down at their last booking. The Pigpen social has now moved to its stable new home @ No.51 Stokes Croft, Bristol.

The Gruesome Twosome will delivering an earshattering,bone jangling mix of Buritos and Beats during their graveyard set 2am – 4am.

Pigpen Social
We are a music collective from the South West and South Coast.  Our alldayer events take place at The Farm Pub in Bristol throughout the year.  All proceeds are donated to Oxfam as part of their Oxjam Music Festival series of fundraising events and Book-Cycle who provide books for our free shop.   Musically we’re about as diverse as it gets.  Our parties feature live acts and djs playing funk, reggae, hip hop, dubstep, jungle, drum & bass, breaks, techno, electro, house, pigbass, oinkstep and everything inbetween.

Our venue of choice, The Farm Pub, is family friendly during the daytime, ravetastic in the evening, has a large garden perfect for summertime events, is warm and cosy inside during the winter months, serves local real ales & cider on tap and serves top quality pub grub from lunch time into the afternoon.
